Restorative Yoga focuses on relaxing the body in restful postures. This is a gentle, therapeutic style of Yoga that uses props to support the body to deepen the benefits of the poses. It is a soothing and nurturing practice that promotes the effects of conscious relaxation, and relieving tension and stress. This practice allows the body to fully relax by holding simple postures passively for extended periods

Runners, athletes, dancers, and for those who carry any kind of stress with-in the body and are tight and tense as a result, will benefit tremendously by attending this class. Through holding classical Hatha yoga poses, Stretch and Lengthen aids in opening the muscular structure of the body. Creative visualization, ancient breath techniques and mind-body awareness practices assist the energetic and astral bodies to become receptive to healing.
This class offers a gentle yoga practice that focuses on maintaining mobility of the spine, strengthening the core musculature and the rest of the body, improving balance, and increase joints' range-of-motion.
Classes will include pranayam ( breathing practice), meditation and safe, easy-to-follow asanas (yoga postures), some done either sitting in a chair or standing alongside a chair if needed as well as on a yoga mat.
This is an open-level vinyasa class incorporating the use of the yoga wheel as a prop. The yoga wheel is a great tool to help stretch and release tension in the spine, chest, and shoulders creating space for a safe practice. Not just great for backbends, the wheel can also help improve mobility in the quads and hip flexors. In this class we will move through a full vinyasa flow while exploring simple yet effective ways to thread the wheelinto our practice. Students will gain increased flexibility and begin to explore more challenging postures with the help of the yoga wheel. If you don't have a wheel, they are available for rent (first come first serve) and various modifications will be offered so everyone can take part, with or without a wheel!
This Vinyasa class will stretch your body and clear your mind. Class is open to All ages and skill levels. There is no set fee for this class - donate only what you can. 100% of the proceeds raised from this class are donated to 1 of our favorite non-profit organizations each month. Mommies and/or daddies practice with their babies, as well as on their own, using yoga postures, breathing and relaxation techniques in a nurturing environment. We explore being fully present with each and every moment.
POUND is a full-body cardio jam session, combining light resistance with constant simulated drumming. The workout fuses cardio, Pilates, isometric movements, plyometrics and Isometric poses into a 45-minute series.
