Lisa Braun is a 200 hour certified Yoga teacher who began to practice as a way to maintain flexibility and strength.
During my journey I discovered not just the physical but spiritual practice of Yoga. I received my 200 YTT certification in 2009 from the Yoga Polarity Center in Malverne and am currently enrolled in the 500 YTT. My desire is to bring not only the physical and spiritual aspects of Yoga to my students. I want to teach them to relieve stress and anxiety in their lives. My style is Hatha linked with a Vinyasa flow. A practice that shapes the body with its power and strength but also allows for moments of rest and reflection.
I believe that Yoga is the key to the balance of the connection between body and mind. I hope that my students can achieve physical and spiritual balance in my class and they sustain that awareness in their everyday lives.
